Easingwold Band Concert 2017
Good Afternoon Tea and Book people!
I hope you are all well, just a quick one. I went to the Easingwold Band Concert yesterday which was quite entertaining with the Easingwold Lions Fate / Fair on during the afternoon of Saturday 24th July 2017.
14 Brass Bands ended up competing with one another for the prizes and here are some quick pictures of the day. I hope you enjoy!
Bright Blessings,
Rae.

The Advert
I am in the process of putting these up around my town, but currently thinking of what to right how does this sound and can you help?
Random Acts of Kindness Experimental Observer (#RAKtivist) :D
Hello, you might have seen some of the books, cds, tea bags, what not lying about on park benches
or benches etc. I rescue old books that have been dumped in a bin or chucked out by charity shops
and then leave them out for a stranger to find and hopefully go to a good home or be passed on from
one to another. I work voluntary at a few places and one of the places I work at has been given out
flavoured tea, which I have been leaving out. I am also a member of Art Abandonment leaving works
of art out in Kindness for a fellow member of the community or member of the public that would
maybe like it as a gift. Although I am alone in this and…
I’m searching for like minded people or anyone who would be interested, intrigued or
willing to meet up for a cuppa some time, somewhere local. If you are interested at all
please email me at:
Thank you! Blessings, Rae

Finally the Books!
Hello to the Bookworms out there!
Ok, so I've not posted a post on Books yet. How could I?! So here I go. Ok the two to start off with might not be books so to speak but anyway I registered 2 magazines (I didn't even know you could do that!) on www.bookcrossing.com and have placed them on a nearby bench and a notice board in my town. So I am hoping that no one throws these away! They're the Take a Break's Fate and Fortune magazines from the last two months. I am hoping that they don't anway.
Well onto actual real books, no not the silly ebooks or the daft kindle etc audiobooks, although with that being said I do like listening to a good book but... I prefere the actual old fashiond things that you hold in your hand. They don't seem to have gone out of fashion just yet! Well I am releasing them into the wild (so as bookcrossing people call it) lol. In the town of Boroughbridge hopefully this evening when we go and meet my dad for fathers day. So hopefully I will take some pictures of where I've placed them, maybe on a dog walk with my grandmother's dog.
Bright Blessings,
Rae.

The not so 'Sour Cherry' Tea
Hello infusors! - Ok, does that even make sense for a term of a person that would actually drink and awful lot of tea? Or is there a proper 'scientific' term for it? Well according to The English Tea Store people it's a Tea Enthusiast! ...
So Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentleman, all you tea enthusiasts... Thank you for clearing that up people over there at the Tea Store. The Tea that has rather been picked for me or it has picked me is the 'Sour Cherry Tea' by Taylors of Harrogate.
It's a rather strange taste, if I am allowed to say that. IN A GOOD WAY! ... It takes less Sour and tangy to me with only a tinchy bit of Cherry. But then as they say that my taste might as well be different to yours. Let me know at randomrae6@gmail.com what you think it tastes like... WELL GETTING TO THAT!...
The place that I work at in York, North Yorkshire, were giving away some tea bags... Ok, so they had far too much of the tea bags, so I said I'd give some out... Well 2 boxes gone though whilst on my way home walking through York, on the bus home and then walking around to see my mum... as I posted before I love or rather overly like to do random acts of kindness and leave tea bags amongst many other things out for people. So if you see this and you live in the York, Easingwold or Thirsk area sometime you might see one of these on a park bench or in rather secluded or rather busy spots on benches, stuck in signs, in banks near them pens (can you actually do that?? Please do let me know if thats ok and you work in a bank or something? lol) Or even in Coffee shops, hedges, pined up somewhere absolutly crazily mad... I have been known to compliment someones parking by putting one on someones care, not sure if thats a good idea or not.
Bright Blessings,
Rae.

TEA, GLORIOUS TEA!!!!
Hello Finders,
Ok so here's some of the tea that I drink and also give out, when I have a lot of them!!
The Pukka range of teas are very much full of flavour!
(let me know how to turn pictures around I haven't figured that out just yet! hehe!! )
The Chocolate Rhooibos and Vanilla, seems a rather strange set of flavours but the last time I tried it I thought it tasted more of Vanilla than Chocolate.
Twinnings Teas
How do you have or serve your tea? If it's non flavoured tea, like 'ordinary' Tetleys, PGS or Yorkshire Tea. I prefere it rather milky with no sugar and if a big mug with an inch of cold water in, as when my step father serves it's just right but rather hot. Better just off the boil!

Twinnings Teas
Don't get me wrong some may like them but these sadly the least favourite of the teas that I like or have tested. I am thinking more of if I ever get more out, I know someone out there will fancy one of these. They are suppose to be rather highly thought of out here in Britain.

Tea placements
Ok so this was a start off today to show you what sort of thing I do and just a quickie. Like the picture above I put them on park benches, in coffee shops (reccommending tea), on bus seats and even giving them out to people on the bus. Like I did to the 2 rather friendly ladies that I chatted to on the bus.
Blessings, Rae
The very best place to start...
... well the very best place to start is obviously at the beginning!
Hello!
First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Raevienne Hewitt (Obviously, my sincere apologies as this name is a pseudonym. I know I hate my real name that bad (Ok, sorry father, I know it isn't that awfully bad, but I really got teased at school by it!!). So I go under the name of Raevienne Hewitt or 'Rae' for short. 'Hewitt' was my grandmother's surname so I have that as in a tribute and honour to her. Some of you might have even seen me on the periscope app as 'Rae the Random Scoper' or on twitter as @RAKtivist_Rae sometimes I even go on Instagram and post on there under @GreenGingerFae. I live in the North of England in my little flat and collect postcards, tea bags and sow on badges. This all started madly with a few things...
1. Steampunk (the whole Victorian and British love for tea!) Oh and obviously one of my favourite (ok so he's mad too then heck all the best people are! Music artists Professor Elemental ... hmm here's the link to googling What is Steampunk? and also Who the heck is Professor Elemental?
2. I love different flavoured teas! Just as simple as that... and I have been putting them out all over the place with little random acts of kindness... (which is another story that I found out via youtube which you can find out on www.kindspring.com or or by clicking on this link.
3. I love to get out and about walking around (sometimes like a mad woman hehe ;) ) or cycling or whilst on the bus and leaving little random notes to strangers hoping to cheer them up.
Just so people know I get GIVEN all different kinds of tea bags from all my pen pals all over the world and also from where I work if they've got a rather lot and too much, that they give them to me to do just this... put them out on park benches and what not. I also put tea bags out in books and via registering books with www.bookcrossing.com and via postcards using www.postcrossing.com so now you know all about why I do this and who I am. Let me know who you are and where you've found my tea bags or are you a fan ? I'd really love to have fans, if I ever do that is. Maybe one day!
So, who exactly are you? Were you the poor lady or gentleman on the bus that got stranded with me telling you about my 'Tea Story' hehe and just thought you'd like one or did you find one on a street corner or a park bench? Let me know on here or by my email at randomrae6@gmail.com I'd love to hear from you.
Bright Blessings,
