Moorlands wildlife Reserve & Brown’s Garden Centre.

Well, lockdown has got us all stuck inside. So we decided to go and try Browns garden centre to get some bird feed, flowers and also compost. Not to mention feeding pots for the resident hedgehog 🦔 which comes every night here. Lovely place and friendly staff all doing there best and most customers keeping to the social distancing rules that were mapped out for us. 

Then we went to the Moorlands Wildlife Reserve down the road. Another beautiful spot that we haven’t been to. Didn’t realise how big it was!! Photos to follow. ☺️ Stay Safe and well. 

Mindy's Karuna Doves

Karuna Doves 🕊

My dear Kindspring.org friend after taking to social media more these days and also tech things, has been making doves, the oragami kind, which she has done for years and some time now.  She recently posted on www.kindspring.org about what Karuna means and the doves along with a poem.  Beautiful! <3 Feel free to join us all, I have just got my kindspring smile cards today that people get to leave in places (although, would people still leave paper during these strange times, on street corners and lampposts?) .  Here's the photo of the cards and little things I was sent. :)

Karuna is the Sanskrit word for compassion.
As the need arises, I am encouraged to fold origami doves. I have made and shared over 40,000 origami Peace Doves, with special flocks for loss, breast cancer, LGBT, etc…so, now I am making Karuna Doves.
These doves are made of bright solid colors and folded with compassionate intention.
A simple 5 petal lotus is drawn on the breast of each dove — signifying peace, love, hope, faith and healing. The message below is tucked into a wing of each dove.
If you’d like a small blessing of Karuna Doves to share, please let me know via private message. As my gift to you, there is never a charge for the doves, or for the postage.

Haverwitz walk, Earth Day and Blackbirds...

Another Day in Lockdown, in the North of England...

Well, we've been gardening, attempting to get a Tesco supermarket food delivery selection of slots and feeding the resident blackbird.  All that amongst walking, bike riding and at my 'desk' or rather my mums dining room table.  Waiting now for a slimming world dinner and veg.  Hoping that one day there will be a takeaway Chicken Korma with rice, naan bread and bombay aloo! Here's hoping that they'll let me and them have it one evening! 

These are the photos of our latest walk around our town through Haverwitz Farm, viewing the village of Crayke from the top then following Haverwitz beck to the alotments and walk 1 of the local tourist office walk leaflets.

The current excitement consists of a Argos shop, Tescos grocery shopping, (excited as we get one coming tomorrow!) picking up the mail and waiting for the milk man to arrive before wiping everything with antibacterial wipes or cleaning stuff that we can find.  We've painted the summer house (me being at my mums that is), gardened, chopped the silver birch down (which I definately protested at poor thing!).  As well as odd meetings with friends, family etc on Zoom, facebook and sometimes jitzi. 

Lets hope they find a vaccine soon and this whole pandemic ends, also hoping that the death toll for the Coronavirus (hating that more word/name more and more now as the year goes on).  Far too many people died.

Old Telephone kindness hits Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

With all that is happening in the world right now and with others struggling out there in a place called Muthill near Crieff in Perthshire has a old red phone box that has been turned into a "village larder" to help out anyone who might need it or who is struggling  People donate what they can then. Then people hopefully will take what they’re really running out of. Let’s hope it’s not too Much. Way to go Scotland. 👏🏻 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Faith in the the posties

Just seen this that was posted on posties and naughts and crosses, where people mainly with kiddies. On Facebook Ms V Mac recently posted that she had recieved this note 📝 from their posts. Got to love how kindness works. ☺️🙏 Since then a few posties all over have done little random acts.

Lockdown Teds

There’s a family that have been rather busy during each day of lock down here in the North of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. The Richardson’s from my town up here have been putting their teddy bears 🧸 out each day for passers by to cheer them up. They’ve even been on there local radio station. BBC York. Here are the past and the current one today is Elvis! Long live King Richardson Ted! They even had a Boris the pm Ted on a bike. I try and go everyday to get a photo for myself. 

Days 1 & 2 of Positives a Day

So I’ve been taking to Facebook, Instagram and What’s App with sending my contacts and friends positive blessings, messages and photos. Friends that I’ve got all around the world. And now hope to do it on here on my blog to until things be back to normal. People keep sending me things in to put on so here are the photos so far. For you to enjoy. 🥰
